Course Requirements and Enrollment

• Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 12 and above with an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.
• Swimming Skills: Competence in swimming (200 yards without stopping) and good physical health are necessary.

Course Details and Structure

Your path to becoming a buoyancy expert includes classroom and ocean sessions:

1. Classroom Session: Begin with a quiz and an introduction to buoyancy fundamentals, learning about weight positioning and fine-tuning your buoyancy underwater.
2. Ocean Dives at La Jolla Shores: Apply your knowledge with two practical dives, focusing on mastering buoyancy skills and enjoying the underwater environment with newfound control.

Course Inclusions and Exclusions

• Included: Instructional fee, eLearning access for Peak Performance Buoyancy, and certification card.
• Not Included: Personal gear (mask, snorkel, fins, gloves, and booties) with a 10% discount available for purchases through our store, as well as rental gear costs.

Note: The class requires a minimum of 2 students. If the minimum is not met, options for rescheduling or private training are available.
