This is the core certification course provided by PSI-PCI and in it we teach the regulations and fundamentals of conducting visual inspections of solid wall and composite SCUBA and SCBA cylinders. It is the only training formally endorsed, referred to and utilized by the cylinder manufacturers; and recognized by USDOT, Compressed Gas Association, NFPA and others. It continues to be the most up to date training available today on this subject.

Requirements

To enroll in our PSI-PCI VCI course you must be at least 16 years of age or older.

What's Involved?

Your journey to explore how cylinders are made, how to identify different types of cylinders and how they can become damaged beanings with with you signing up for the next available course, filling out some paperwork. The course is split into 1 section:

• The first section is the classroom session. During the classroom session, you will meet your fellow cylinder inspectors and your instructor who will be with you for the rest of the course. You and your fellow students will learn how to visually inspect different types of cylinders encountered in the scuba, paintball and fire service. You will learn how to measure and evaluate types of damages, and how to complete a visual inspection report.

After This Course
