Course Prerequisites

• Age Requirement: Open to divers 12 years and older.
• Certification Requirement: You must hold an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent from a recognized training agency.
• Physical and Skill Requirements: Good swimming ability (200 yards without stopping) and overall physical health are necessary.

Course Breakdown

Embark on a comprehensive journey that includes classroom learning, pool sessions, and ocean dives at La Jolla Shores:

• Classroom Learning: Engage with fellow divers and your instructor to understand the essentials of full-face mask diving, including equipment handling and usage techniques.
• Pool Training: To build confidence and skill, practice operating a full-face mask in a controlled environment.
• Ocean Diving: Experience two dives at La Jolla Shores, demonstrating your new skills in a real-world setting under the guidance of your instructor.

Course Inclusions and Exclusions

• What’s Included: The course fee covers the instructional fee and certification card.
• What’s Not Included: Full face mask and rental equipment are not included in the course fee.
