Prerequisites for Enrollment

• Age: 12 or older.
• Certification: Open Water Diver or equivalent.

Course Overview

1. Classroom Learning: Get to know your fellow divers and instructor, take a quiz, and learn the basics of deep diving, including equipment preparation and planning.
2. Ocean Dives: Immerse yourself in two deep dives at La Jolla Shores, followed by two more on a boat. These dives will test the skills you’ve learned in real-world conditions.

Continuing Education and Opportunities

After the course, expand your diving experiences with courses like the Advanced Open Water Diver and Night Diver. The Advanced Open Water Diver course offers a variety of specialties to explore.
