Course Prerequisites

• Age and Certification Requirements: Open to individuals aged 12 and older with an Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent.
• Physical and Skill Requirements: Adequate swimming skills (200 yards without stopping) and good physical health are necessary.

Course Structure

Embark on a comprehensive learning journey, divided into theoretical and practical dive sessions:

1. Classroom Learning: Gain essential knowledge on wreck diving, including safe exploration techniques and responsible practices for diving in overhead environments.
2. Ocean Dives at San Diego's Wrecks: Conduct four dives on actual wrecks, applying learned skills such as using a wreck reel, tying off, and safely navigating through wreck spaces.

Course Inclusions and Exclusions

• Included: an instructional fee, eLearning - Wreck Diver, and a certification card.
• Not Included: Specific required equipment (safety spool, wreck reel, lights), boat diving fees, and rental gear costs.

Note: A minimum of 3 students is required for the class. If not met, options for rescheduling or private training at an additional cost are provided.
